Paver driveways all start with a compacted sand and gravel. Once the base is in place, the surface can be formed with concrete pavers, cobblestone pavers or brick pavers. Cobblestone are the most durable, with brick pavers being the least durable.
Concrete Driveway Pouring
4000 psi, 3500 psi and 3000 psi all refer to concrete compression strength the resistance to downward force in pounds per square inch. Since a driveway will be exposed to vehicle traffic, 4000 psi is a good strength to use. Most 4000 psi mixes if properly placed will actually reach 4500-5000 psi, since most ready-mix suppliers over engineer their mixes.
